Holly Inman Chancey, LMHC

Please get in touch and let’s start the dialogue on how we can help.

Through my personal life experiences, I have acquired a deeper understanding of the honor that comes from learning more about ourselves in order to intentionally mold our futures. With a combination of therapy and continued practice outside of our sessions, my goal with you is to promote self awareness, self acceptance and self confidence. We’ll work together to increase mental clarity when disruptive situations occur and improve your quality of life altogether.

A true passion of mine is working with women through their transition into and throughout motherhood. After becoming a mom, my passion for working with individuals in the perinatal season of life ignited. There are many unseen and unspoken challenges that come along with parenthood. No matter what your experience, I am here to support you through it.

Other specializations include working with adolescents and teens (ages 10 – 18) through social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties. The transition of adolescents is such a unique time in a persons’ life, for the adolescent as well as their parents. My process is to normalize these transitions and help the adolescent, as well as their parent’s work towards better communication and life skills moving into adulthood.

Approach and education:

I received my BA in Sociology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from Auburn University and Masters of Science from in Clinical Mental health Counseling from Walden University. I am a Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner, trained in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
